How we run.
Xinix Trucking is a moving and delivery company that has been doing the same work, the same way, out of the same Los Angeles yard for twenty-five-plus years. Owner-operated. Not a franchise. Not a broker. The phone you call is the line on the truck.
The standard
We hold three rules and we hold them every job:
- On time. 9 a.m. means 9 a.m. Not 9:30, not a "morning window." If we're going to be late we tell you the day before, not the day of.
- Quote equals final price. Whatever number we give you on the phone is the number on the invoice. If the job runs longer than we estimated, that's our problem, not yours.
- Trained crew. The people in your house are people we work with daily, not day labor we found this morning. They know how to wrap a chair, how to carry a piano, and how to behave inside someone's home.
The operator
Fernando Perla started Xinix Trucking in the year 2000 with one truck and worked it himself. The company grew the way a working operator's company grows — one referral at a time. There is no marketing budget, there is no franchise system, there is no out-of-town owner.
The work is the marketing. Customers send their friends.
The name
The company has been in business in Los Angeles since the year 2000. The name on the trucks changed to Xinix Trucking in 2014. If you knew the previous name and you're trying to find us, you did. Same operator, same standard, same yard.
How a job runs
- You call or write. The phone is fastest — you get Fernando, or the next person down the line.
- We talk through what you're moving, where it's going, and when. Most jobs we quote on the call. Larger or long-distance jobs get a free walk-through.
- You get a flat rate or an hourly rate, written and confirmed by email.
- On move day, the crew arrives at the time we said. They wrap, load, drive, unload. You sign at the end. The invoice matches the quote.
- A day or two later we may call to check that everything is still in one piece, and to ask if there's anything we could have done better.
What we don't do
We don't broker your move to another carrier. We don't put your household in a warehouse to wait for the next truck out. We don't consolidate your boxes with someone else's load. We don't quote one number and bill another. We don't run a sales department.
